Last summer, out of the blue, I decided that I wanted a kilt...and I can't even think of what sparked the whole thing. I found the Bravehearts forum, and lurked there most of the summer/fall/spring, posting around once a month, if that.
I checked out Tom's Cafe a number of times, and actually liked it more last summer (Bravehearts was dead for a long time), but then it started to get really creepy with all the dresses, clutch-bag matching, pantyhose stuff. I opened up a pic of "Mary Jane Boy" one day and was scarred for life. I haven't been back much since then.
Now, I spend all of my time here (I can barely keep up with this site - let alone others!) I enjoy the comraderie that exists here, like a lot of the other guys have said.
I also find a sort of "adopted" family here. Graham and Glen are my cool uncles, even with their weird green tights fetishes. Hank is my younger (barely), but more responsible brother. Jimmy and Rocky are the older brothers that would get me into trouble all the time. Rhino, Blu, and Freelander are the older cousins that make you laugh ... the list is endless!
