Mickey, they are New Rock boots - motorcycle-type boots made by a Spanish company (made of Spanish leather-O, no doubt) and beloved of 'alternative' types like Goths and Punks and so on here in the UK. They just... well, Rock, don't they? If you type 'New Rock boots' into Google, you'll get an idea of the sort of thing. The ones I have, I got secondhand off eBay from a guy in the next county, because these suckers cost £200ish brand new. I also state now that the ones I have are quite... reserved and modest compared to most of New Rock's output. They really are crackalackin (and say thanks to your wife for that fantastic word to take off into the day with me!)!
