Didnt expect to see a Zevon fan on the XMarks site. Anything in particular you like from him as he was rather eclectic in his own right.
Shame his has never been considered for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

I'm more or less a die-hard blues fan but actually have VERY eclectic tastes in what I may listen to on a given day.
Was listening to Jonny Langs "Turn Around" CD this morning........amazing CD.
In the car just now I was playing Dropkick Murphys "Drink and drink and drink and fight". Bagpipes often............
Ray Charles. Tower of Power. Tango music. Classical. ZZ Top. The list could go on but that gives a good idea.
"Fide et Fortitudine"
(fidelity & fortitude)

Nothing in particular. A friend sent me copies of his music several years ago. Thankfully it was edited with the strong language bleeped over.

For all you Bluesy types who like their music with a bit of a twist, have a listen to this chap Colin Hodgkinson. (His career and discography summary is outlined on the linked to site too.)
Amazing left handed bassist who uses his Bass as a chorded, lead instrument on his solo work. I saw him live when he was backing (the late) Gary Moore in 2000. I was blown away then and have been listening ever since. Highly recommended.

He did have a couple of songs with some pretty strong language, those weren't really any of my favorites from his music. Was quite a lyricist and very diverse across the musical spectrum. Too many favorites to list here.
Not sure if you have ever heard this one but thought I would link it here as it would be the closest piece he had ever done to a Celtic flavor/theme. Not one of his best lyrically but it actually includes a penny whistle and a bodhran -- "Macgillicuddy's Reeks"

I don't listen to a lot of music but I am starting to really like Hanz Araki.

Ivan Najera is the family favorite. I have heard him twice live in a very small venue and his CD's are all over our house.

There's classic rock on the radio, some clown beating a hammer on apiece of wood, an impact wrench trying to loosen a rusted on bolt, One guy grinding using an air grinder without a muffler, The noise of the traffic on the main road through town. And My favorite 21 yr old talking as loud as he possibly can. Oh, that's right. I'm still at work. Can't wait to get in the truck with the cd player. Beach boys, Barleyjuice, Billy Joel, Die Schlauberger, And My favorite polka band from Texas, Brave Combo.

Listening to a DC classic rock station on iheart...in the background the better half is tuning a SherpaT trials bike. It's mine and someday it'll have a matching modern version great kilt that matches it.
We're prolly the only 2 human beings in a square mile. 4:59 this place turns into an instant ghost town.
....The Clash.
Listened to the Tubes on youtube earlier.
Nastalgia.
The other day I went on a 10+ hour Dead head bootleg journey on youtube. They have a ton of hour++ concerts....old boot legs albums. Almost like radio...click it and forget it.

count another kilted vote for Warren Zevon... as for the rest, of late Missippi Fred McDowell... (Goin Down to the River, mmm, tasty...) Hapa... George Thorogood... and unashamed to admit that lately I've been quite hooked on (the music of) a young lady in Ireland named Orla Gartland, youtube stuff...
oh yeah, by the way...
tuning a SherpaT to The Clash.... ultimate cool...
can you upload an mp3?
