How often and where
This may be the wrong forum (please move it if it is), but I'd like to ask the rabble (particularly U.S. members) how often and where do you wear your kilt?

Daily and anywhere. Walk to work in my Elkommandos or Blackwatch and have 10 other kilts to fill in the rest of the week..... Really I do wear kilts daily

Daily exept for work due to uniform being required .
I'll not be lied to , stolen from or laid a hand upon. I do this to no man and I require the same in return.

Easier just to say I don't wear one at work.

Anytime, any where just match the level of (in) formality to the occasion of locale. I where pants as the exception not the norm.

I mostly have kilts for Scottish events, but also for some Irish or pan-Celtic ones. Sometimes I might wear one for a special occasion like my birthday or a holiday such as Christmas. Hiking in a kilt is nice, but I don't do much hiking. I don't wear the kilt for school, work, or general socializing. I often wear a Utilikilt or Sportkilt around the house, but tend not to wear those ones in public...

Once a week to work (never on casual Friday), two or three times a month out to dinner or other evening social event, 5-6 times a year at Scottish themed events, and am nearly exclusively in a kilt when hiking or back packing unless the weather or mosquitoes make it impractical. However, I don't usually wear one just to go out and about doing my business, like grocery shopping etc.

Few times a week to work, most anywhere I go otherwise. Always when driving on a trip. Its always an option for me. Most fun is when dancing...pleats dance too.

I kilt most days. I frequent my local Family Centre with my son and take him to preschool at the Neighbourhood House. The regular routines of trips to the park, grocery store and library are included in places I kilt. I am also on a dragonboat team and ALWAYS kilt on the water. Truly, any time and place where my kilt will not be too much of a distraction from other focusses and I'll likely be kilted especially in the winter. Summer might catch me with a pair of shorts more often.
