Ham,
Rudi Diesveldt, The man who makes my sporrans, belts, keychains, etc, turned 70 this year. I'm no pushover but I wouldn't like to mess with him, even without the weaponry!
Here he is in the St. Patrick's Day parade this year.
(All those weapons must have weighed at least 50 lbs and he carried them the whole parade!)

A Duke of the realm, I think Sussex, aged, as it happens, at 67yrs, fought for Henry v at Agincourt wielding 5lbs of iron for 6 hrs in battle.
Try swinging a stick for 60mins, gives you an idea of the calibre of men in the medieval ages. HARD.
Cheers Rhino

What an interesting man, I'd love to meet him. I would just like to have that much hair at his age!
It's great to see people totally devote to what they enjoy, your friend obviously is just that!

You guys don't know Rudi. He's scarier without the weapons (they slow him down a bit).
Seriously, Rudi is a stand up guy that likes to call a spade a spade. He is a man's man by all definitions and if he likes you he lets you know. He is the only person in their 70's that I know can kick my 27 year old ****.
Check out some of his great products at www.celticempire.com
For the record that targe was flippin heavy.
By the way happy belated birthday to you Graham.
