    Thanks Colin! I wasn't sure if the one-button or the three-button was right, but the one-button looks like it has the right cut at the bottom.

    All that's missing are some shiny buttons. I may just go this route myself. Will be chaecking around locally, as there are a few uniform places around here.

    Binx at Bravehearts found buttons. They're a little pricey, at $3USD a piece, but they look good. I figure that you can't beat the price for a fake Prince Charlie jacket.

    Definately the single button. Add to that if you want to get flashier you could match the fabric and add cuffs and styled pocket flaps along with shiney buttons.

    This one:

    I think a jacket like this would go well with a kilt. Whether it's done in Scotland or not I don't know but it looks the right length and it cuts away at the front allowing for the sporran. Nice touch with the wingtip shirt and bowtie. Nice for the price.
