Buzz Kidder sporrans are a great value. They aren't the cheapest out there, but they make a perfect first day sporran for the new kilt wearer. The great thing is that they will hold up and look great long after most of the flimsy cheapo "first sporrans" new kilt wearers buy are discarded.

There is something be said for spending just a little more to get something that will last

As noted above the Buzz Kidder sporrans are roomy and made of thick supple leather.

I have a "Loch Ness" model that my lovely F-H.C.A.G. gave me for Valentines Day years ago and it still looks great after heavy use.

    Cheers

This is exactly what I am seeking, a decent stepping stone of sorts, not a cheapo that will irritate, my current cheapie was a hand me down from a fellow brewer and the tassels drum on the drumhead like stiff leather, the finish seems to be flaking off, and the stitching is coming undone. Time for the scrap heap and on to a better sporran.

Thinking on it, the quality of the one I have now reminds me a bit of a child's cap gun holster.....
