Do we have any Dull and Boring members?

The residents of Dull in Perthshire are celebrating after the US town of Boring voted to forge links with them.
The Boring Community Planning Organisation in Oregon have voted to make the two communities ' a pair for the ages'.

The Dull villagers are now planning a party and hope a road sign will be erected to mark the relationship.
The idea of the link came when a resident of Dull, near Aberfeldy, passed thru Boring, Oregon on a cycling holiday in the US. The towns could not be officially twinned because of size differences - Boring has a population of around 10,000 to Dull's 84 - and so this special relationship was forged instead.

So do we have any Dull and Boring members on the forum?

Darn, I missed the capitalization. I was hoping there were members who would admit to being dull and boring. I've often thought I was, but I have very high standards for "interesting," so I may not actually be dull or boring...

No, but I did live for a month in Little Snoring - a quiet sleepy little village. Unlike Great Snoring, just up the road, which always struck me an a rambunctious sort of place.

    Regards

To show that I am dull and boring, I have friends who stay in Much Wenlock in Shropshire, I think there is a Little Wenlock?

What an edifying and enlightened forum this is - I now know the meaning of rambunctious!

No, but I live close to Boring and have friends there. Since we are the Commissioners for Clan MacKenzie for Oregon State, we will be on the look out for folks from Boring (near Sandy, OR) and see what we can get going. Is there a Beaches, Scotland. We could have Sandy Beaches.......oh the list goes on.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

The late King George V, when he heard a criticism of his "dull and alien court" staunchly responded:

"I may be dull but I'm damned if I am an alien!"

There are some delightfully named places around the globe, not all of which can be decently named here.
