I'd have to see the white blazer to be convinced it didn't look "good humorish"
I would just go with a white shirt and crimson tie to get your school colors.
I don't think pants and jacket have to (or should be) white or crimson.

Going with black pants, shoes etc. once I tried everything one..looked good.., the act of asking helped. I was trying to go with light slacks and nothing was working...Black does
thanks all

Here is a great look for a white blazer with black slacks. You might try emulating it with some of your crimson stuff.

If it were me and I have to admit looking at this through UK eyes this situation requires quiet dignity, not only for yourself, but for your students too. So, for what it is worth, I would go steady on the crimson. How about white blazer, white shirt(very, very pale blue is worth a thought), black trousers and well shone black shoes. To get the school colours into the equation a regimental style tie with a crimson stripe----or a plain crimson tie as a second choice. Sometimes to make a point, silence and quiet dignity can be deafening!

I couldn't agree more and might even suggest going even more "quietly" substituting the black trousers for some good quality grey flannels as the black trousers with white jacket suggests dinner wear on a cruise or Bertie Wooster on holiday in Cannes (sans Jeeves).

I do not have that choice, even were it optional, I have students that I need to be there for, so I will.

wow thanks guys , I have gone black, none of my greys looked right, darkened the shirt and the tie is a regimental Black and red, the red matching the shirt. Yeah, I get the Bertie Wooster comment, I also have to maintain my students expectations, I am the teacher that wears Kilts to school, has his class(business) dress in coat and tie, or business formal on Fridays for extra credit, wears classic hats every day, goes bold in his dress and lets them know it is good to push limits. I caught my self looking for a white straw fedora that i could put a crimson band on, but not for this..I will have one though.
thanks everybody
