Hi, I'm Glenn, from New Zealand.

I have Scottish ancestry through most of my family lines. So I was raised on a little bit of Scottish Romanticism. Unfortunately we have recently traced my Patriarchal line to England, not Argyle as we thought.

I am involved in medieval recreation, and hope to finish a medieval Mac'O'Drean persona and a renaissance boarder persona sometime. I also have studied some highland broadsword. I own a basket hilted fencing broadsword simulator based on a find off the Mary Rose (1545), a rapier and a basket hilted blocking dagger, and a home made targe.

I also love sci-fi, and cosplay. (Playing a particular fictional character.) I love the 1980-1990's retro-futuristic sci-fi universe of Battletech. Of course I am making a couple of cosplays from the mercenary unit the Northwind Highlanders. One is a battlemech pilots uniform. One is a barracks uniform, with a McLeod kilt. I also intend to cosplay Axl Rose, kilted version, just for something different.
