    1st Time Out

Wasn't sure if I should post this under one of the "casual" threads or maybe one of the "pets" threads but tonight was my first venture out kilted. I attended an Emerald Society meeting at a local Irish pub and stuck around afterwards for a couple of pints with friends. I heard nothing but positive reactions from friends and strangers alike and had a couple of members (who own kilts but only break them out on special occasions) say they would be wearing their's at next month's meeting! I should have started this years ago!

If that's a Black Watch tartan and you wore it to an Irish pub you are a very brave man sir.

Just sayin'...don't mean to go over the line...history stuff....

You certainly should - you have the look of a kilt wearer!

You have to make up for lost time and wear it on every occasion possible.

    Regards

Good job! First time out is always scary but positive reactions will assure a second time.

I don't think I'd find too much of anything scary with a great animal like that by my side. [I have a Great Pyrenees who serves much the same role]

Congrats on your first outing. Hope you get similar comments when you go without Katja .
Lookin good, both of you. You cant go wrong with a BW as your first kilt.
