Following this unassailable logic, I direct your attention to a mew, err, new thread from creagdhubh.
Highland Games athletes often wear gloves.
Note the clan motto shown in the referenced thread.
Therefore, LitTrog's seemingly new-found product application is obviously some centuries old.
I can only imagine the episstles amongst Games organizers and the clan chieftain that resulted in the adoption of this declaration! But I'm sure others of you will have a go at recreating them. . .
I didn't see this before! I'll get to work, but I'm afraid of dancing into the area of booted kitties that might get this thread snipped. My mind does that. Good cross-linking, BTW.

If you think your French is exhausted, imagine how that poor chat feels!

I know I don't generally prowl around the Athletics section, but this thread had to appear in my new posts list, and I couldn't resist looking. It's PAWmazing how many cat puns could be found

Is it illegal to throw litter in the US. Wouldn't want you cat-apulted into jail!

Yeah, I've seen that "recipe" -- having to deal with multiple iterations of the real thing on a daily basis takes most of the fun out of this concept. . . Bob got an almost-from-scratch cherry pie (fresh fruit but premade pastry) for Father's Day, so there!
("scratch," get it, huh?)

Yeah, I get it. Thanks for poo-pooing my son's efforts. My wife helped, but he took great pains to follow the recipee. Bury your head in shame...
