I was in traffic court today to dispute a ticket from over a year ago. Whether due to my imposing presence and vast amount of preparation or due to some sympathy on the part of the officer, the ticket was excused saving me $109.00! Sometimes the little guy does prevail.

Were you kilted for your court appearance? That I wish to know. BTW, here in LA County you would not have saved anything if you won, you would have got a refund. Here you have to pay whatever the fine is within the required time frame. Not a system to give one much confidence in fairness.
Little -- as in Small? "Oh the pow'r the giftie gie us, tae see ourselves as others see us." Contratulations, Mike. I won't ask whether the law's forgiveness was justified, but if we see you Saturday it will be my shout in recognition of your success.
Wore a UK khaki, no issues. In BC if you choose to dispute a traffic ticket it does not get paid until a decision is rendered. I felt it was a chicken s#*t ticket so don't know if that makes its excuse justified but nothing ventured, nothin' got away with.
