Here's an old photo of the Duke of Windsor's closet at his residence in Paris. You can clearly see the Lord of the Isles tartan jacket hanging amongst his other fine beauties.

He did like his checks and tartans didn't he? Lots of tweed there.

Yes, he did indeed, Chas. I do too. The Duke of Windsor was often quoted in regards to his check and tweed garments as, "The louder, the better." I must say, I happily agree with him.

Looks like he also had a jacket made in Duke of Rothesay Hunting tartan, as well.
