Hi Graham,
Following receipt of their newsletter, another e-mail arrived saying they were having problems with their server and to try again later. I cannot access it either at this time.

The website is still down, must be serious.
Anyway a question, I like the black workmans...except the silver studs seem very 'showy' (no, I'm not Amish).
Do they make them with black or darker studs?

Graham, is that a typo?!!!!!
Do they make them with black or darker studs?
Alas, no! This matter has come up many times in the past year or two and, at one time - in the early days of Utilikilts - they would 'customise' your kilt for you, but those days are long gone. The Utilikilts Company is now far to big and busy to do custom work. (That's not a criticism; I am pleased for them). However, there is apparently a product on the market (in the USA at least) which can be painted over chrome to dull it down. I've no idea what it is, but maybe some of our American brethren will know it.
The bright studs used to worry me, but I have now grown quite used to them.
Whatever you do, Graham, don't let a handfull of little things like that put you off course. We all know you have set sail and are heading purposely towards the Utilikilt Coast. This could be the fastest single-handed crossing yet!!
