    I propose a toast

This past weekend, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and enjoying a delightful visit with several of the directors of the Crieff Highland Games (sister games of the Ohio games). I was pleasantly surprised that they approached me rather than the other way around. I could be wrong, but I attribute this to the fact that I was dressed, and obviously comfortable in, TCHD (for warm weather).
The education I have received here in the last six months is largely contributory to both my desire and ability to "do it right". For that help, I would like to express my thanks particularly to Jock, Kyle, Richard, Chris, Sandy, Matt, Paul, Jamie, Kenneth and other "traditionalists" as well as to the rabble in general who post questions, answers and opinions here. Because of you, I have found the subject of TCHD fascinating in its complexity and a most worthwhile and engaging endeavor.

Please feel free to pour yourselves a wee dram and raise your glasses to each other.

I should add that in the photo David posted, he is wearing a kilt that he made himself.
Here's a toast to you too, David!

Thank you for your most gracious and kind comments, David. You look very smart in the MacTavish tartan, and are very well turned out, indeed! I am pleased that you had a wonderful time in Wellington. Well done, and cheers to you my friend!

    Slainte mhath!
