Thought I would post a few pics from what was an absolutely amazing place we played at yesterday in the Cotswolds ...
We were booked to perform at a wedding. The venue was in the grounds of an old manor house built in 1614. The house was built around the church in the pic which was constructed in 1145. We played in the Tithe Barn which was the earliest built building there dated 1115.
Here some pics ..
The Manor House
The Church which is now part of the garden
The Tithe Barn
Our little set up ready to go in the Barn
The wedding took place in the woods and we had to take some acoustic instruments and play behind the bride as we and all the guest walked to the spot (which was about quarter of a mile from the barn)
Then it was back to the barn for the reception
After that they moved all the tables back ready for the evening where we did a few songs etc and lots of Ceilidh Dancing .. its was a really good day (and to top it we even got paid for it ).
