pleating new kilt

Well, the decision has been made. She Who Must Be Obeyed has decreed it will be dress pleated, to the sett. Oh well, there will be more opportunities for one pleated to the stripe. Her point was welltaken I guess. I want them to match and she thinks to the stripe won't suit her. Now as soon as I get the curtains made for my sons camping trailer I can get started on the project.

Are the curtains to be pinch-pleated, box-pleated or knife-pleated to the stripe or to the sett?

Hamish, knowing what a tightwad my son is there isn't going to be enough fabric for dent hems much less pleats
