My wife and I went Sunday afternoon to a small mutiplex a couple of blocks from our home. There weren't too many people there and since I wear the kilt all the time any way the staff is used to seeing me so there weren't any comments going in. After the film I was waiting for my wife to use the restroom and a couple of ladies walked by. They just shrugged and didn't say anything to me but as they walked down the hall I hear one of them theorize that I must be there to promote the film.

I quite like the film. The story line is not particularly remarkable but it was certainly enjoyable. I think they did a pretty good job on the visuals of tartan fabric and they treated the wearing of kilts in a natural, unremarkable way. That is to say, they avoided making kilts a foil for jokes. If you watch the details the visual elements like fabric, fur, flowing and falling water were absolutely amazing.
