My only problem with the orange hose is that with green garters, my leg looks like a carrot, and I sincerely can't think of another color to use with the orange hose!

Oddly enough, I didn't think that earth tones would go well but I've worn olive and khaki hose with caledonia and it's turned out well also.

'mixing colors chart maroon or black (so dark grey) .. ..I guess they want the kilt colors to stand out against the jacket shirt ..across the specrum I see a dark slatey bluish green ... Another pointed toward a maroon/burgundy shirt (paratroopers, Cousin Derek'll be elated) . Basics= lt blue green red and dbl dark grey ..go to home depot hit the paint test swatches ..or good men's/lady's taylor . kilt should be brighter than the shirt/jacket here I'd guess . Nice solemn olive green tweed a fly tyer'd ca' it olive I'd check Orvis' dry "comparadun" flies ..look at slate green and dun ..can't go wrong if you include fly fishing .. . fyi the tourist dolls always had black electric darkish green or elec blue if you really want to blaze them . Burgundy might grow on you ..
