I go by Miss J and I joined because I am committed to sewing a decent kilt. I love to sew and craft and I would love to see my hubby in a kilt. Maybe someone here can tell me why some of the threads are closed. I saw an interesting one and I had info I thought someone else might find useful but it was closed. I am interested in the cargo type kilts but because of my love of wool (I raise fine wool sheep) I know I will have to make one of wool too. I might be interested in some nice traditional Scottish knitting pattern if anyone would like to share. Glad to be here I'm sure I will learn alot. Miss J

Welcome from VA. You also need to order "The Art Of Kiltmaking" a great resource. I order it from The Celtic Croft, their link is on the right.
