Went to the theater to see Batman(I thought Brave was gone), but when I saw Brave was still in the theater I saw it instead. I was not kilted as it was spur of the moment.

Many from the Utah Scottish Association went together kilted. It was a fun and great turnout. I enjoyed the movie so much that I went again the following week.

Here in the Twin Cities (St. Paul/Minneapolis) they had a special pre-screening three days before the Friday release for the Scottish community. We filled the theater at the Mall of America. Scores of kilts. Everything from Utilakilts, to full dress. Local Ren Festers added some period flavor. It was a fantastic family event. Ditto on the animation--great.

We had a few double-takes, but this is the Mall of America, where the unusual is the norm.

Now THAT would have been fun!!! All of us sweaty athlete types piling into the theater to see BRAVE, en masse.....awsome!

I went with Mrs. Tree Tosser last weekend...kilted, of course. I even wore a dark blue Jacobite shirt. Nobody batted an eye!

Took my daughter to see BRAVE yesterday. As I was going to take her to see the movie after I got out of church I was already kilted. To show her own level of bravery, my duaghter came to Antioch to see the movie with me on BART alone from San Francisco. I met her at the BART station here and took her back to the station so that she could go home. I had quite a few comments regarding my wearing my SWK Black Stewart: was there some kind of function, was there a meeting of The Caladonian Club, was there a meeting of the St. Andrews Society, etc. When I explained that I regularly wear a kilt to church and was going to tak my daughter to see Brave I got a lot of "That's so cool" and that I was dressed appropriately. It turned out I was also dressed appropriately for the hot weather we had over the weekend as well.

Went with my brother, his family and my dad a couple of weeks ago to see it. Brother and I were kilted. Met a couple from Crieff here on vacation. I liked it so much that I had to share it with my lovely bride who was unable to go the first time. Kilted again, of course, but this time at a small town theater. Lots of looks and smiles with some "Hi's" thrown in.
I picked up a lot the second time that I missed the first time. I can't say if the movie is that quick, or that I'm just that slow, but it was just as enjoyable the second time, and my wife loved it. Already on our must-have DVD list for our grandkids' visits.

Went to see "Brave" last thursday kilted. I was kind of waiting for the ticket agent to asume which movie i planned on seeing but no reaction whatever from anyone staff or public at the theatre. I stayed for all the credits thinking at least it I could listen to the music and was pleased to see the postlog scene. The staff politely waited to start cleaning until I turned to leave and only asked "Did you like the movie." In a sense, no reaction to the kilt is the best reaction.

I'm seeing it tomorrow with my wife (likely the last movie we'll see together in a while since my son is due to be born around august 15th), not kilted unfortunately since I'm waiting for some money I loaned to be returned to me so I can not only order the Black Watch I sent back again but also like the Douglas modern and Hamilton Grey. Not sure yet which of both I'll order.

I've turned my head every time I saw a preview of the movie on purpose; I hate seeing half the movie in under two minutes at home. Really looking forward to it since I first saw the teaser late last year (during the last "Potter" movie I think)

This afternoon the wife and I went to see Brave, and naturally I wore a kilt – the mostly royal blue Botswana tartan, with a royal blue shirt and mustard-coloured hose that match the “gold” stripe in the sett.
As we queued for tickets a very excited teenaged girl asked me to pose with her for a picture. Wifey seemed rather embarrassed by the whole thing. I should have asked the lass’s friend to take another with my cellphone.
I did ask my wife after the show to take one of me next to the poster (the one showing Merida with her fiery red hair), but I am afraid she has no idea how to hold the phone as a camera and all I got was a blur!
I’ll post the picture as soon as I learn how to transfer pics to my computer.
Oh, and I enjoyed the movie.
Just a pity that the animation team seized on something that looked to me like Dress Stewart to be one of the clan tartans – it looked completely wrong to me. The other tartans were quite pleasing, but did not seem to have been drawn by people with any clear understanding of how tartan is put together.
    Regards,
    Mike

Most modern phones can be connected to a pc or laptop trough a USB cable. Should have come with the phone. Just plug it in and it should be recognized as "external disc" or something. Click trough the folders until you find one named DCIM. In there should be a folder "photos" or something. In there are the pictures you took with your phone. Just drag and drop to anywhere on your pc and upload from there!

I really liked the movie, downloaded the music too.
