The August Kilt Pic Challenge: WRONG!!

OK, I'm a few days early.....so sue me!

This months challenge, (by request in my PM's, it was a great idea)....I want to see pictures of you doing it ALL WRONG. What's "wrong"? I'm sure not going to tell you, that's up to YOU to decide. I don't care, I just want to see you out and about on a day when you did the "kilt thing" just totally "Wrong"... a day when it just didn't "work". P'raps you have a pic or two of you "doing it wrong" as an illustration for a friend that's new to kilting, eh? That counts, too. After all, no man (woman) is completely useless.... At the worst, he (she) can serve as a bad example.

I, of course, being a gentleman of involuntarily impeccable taste (I don't think about it, it just comes naturally) don't have any such pictures. Heh.

Ahh a kilted wall of shame, this should make for some "interesting" viewing.
I also find myself having unexpected impeccable taste and can't contribute.
Well...maybe if my fingers are more honest I tend to find myself committing what I realize are later mistakes in audiences that don't know enough about kilts to realize they're picture worthy, though I have always had the foresight to keep the krinkly bits in the back. I look forward to learning from the example of those here.

I hope everyone notes that Alan has asked for pics of themselves doing it all wrong, and not for pictures of other people doing it wrong. There was an infamous thread about "Kilt Don'ts" before I joined the forum that supposedly spiralled quickly into meanness and venom. I think that might actually be against a rule somewhere now, but perhaps a Mod can correct me if I'm wrong.

Did you just refer to yourself as a gentleman? And in another thread you used the words "casual daywear" to describe your own outfit? What is going on here?

I certainly hope you will rise to your own challenge. Somewhere, tucked in the back of a box, I might have some pics from one of the first times I wore the kilt... I'll see if I can find and scan it...

Sorry, my bad. No "meanness or venom" intended and I've deleted my original post. Like many in the digital age however, I tend to hit the "delete" button on pics of me that I'd rather not have come back and haunt me!

It might be the case that none of us have pictures of "wrongness" because we all follow the "rules" to the letter. Let's make this a chance to break free of the "rules" and deliberately, intentionally and on purpose wear the kilt "wrong".
I'll post pictures in a day or two.
