This coming Wednesday (NOT TUESDAY - doh!) is the 266th anniversary of the passage of the Act of Proscription. I'm not normally one to wear a kilt "just because", but I have taken this opportunity to inform some in my office that Tuesday, to me, will be "Wear Your Kilt to Work Day".
Will anybody be joining me?

Glad you mentioned this. I was unaware of the date. However now that you bring it up, I shall wear a kilt that day myself. My kilt will travel to the local pub that day however, and not to the office as I am now retired.
