That did leave things a little vague for interpretation by the local sheriffs.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

Its 1230Hrs on August 1st in the Highlands of Scotland and thus far, as far as I can see and hear, not a mention of the subject here. I can't say that I was expecting any comment.

Have only made it to blue hose and shoes so far. Await the magic that is coffee to clear the cob webs. The Sgian Dubh with its sharp blade is next, followed by the USAK PV Spirit of Scotland kilt. Brain fog too thick to decide on the top yet .

This morning I hosted an open water swim of 1.2 miles for about 30 swimmers. My kilt drew some attention (of course) and I announced the reason I was so attired and the significance of the date. Interestingly, one woman was from Ireland and said she had just received an email from her sister in Scotland mentioning the day. To maintain the mystique, I went inside to remove the kilt and reappeared in proper swimming attire. Sorry, no photos. Getting 30 people organized and going was all I could handle. I doubt if I converted anyone to kilt wearing, but we did have an interesting discussion.
