I think I caused an accident
Hell-o all my kilt loving friends,
I love going downtown at lunchtime, not only do you get extra samples of goodies being passed out because you are wearing a kilt, but because of all the positive thumbs up comments you can get. Today was no exception I was standing on the corner waiting to cross when this car with two twenty something young ladies came by and both in unison said "cool". They turned the corner and I was able to cross, then I heard the sound of metal hitting metal. I looked around and what did I see but the car with the two young ladies in it smashed into another auto, and definetly at fault. Being the gentleman I am I went to go see if they were OK. They were fine, shaken but fine. They told me that I was just too sexy for them to concentrate on where they were going, they kept looking at me and driving. I stayed with them until the police arrived, it was a strange but positive experience. All in a day of kilting.

I think you don't need the words "I think" in the subject line. "I caused and accident" would have been just fine.

Well Glen, it's pretty flattering but I'm sure their insurance won't like it much.

As long as you are not shown at fault, everything should be fine.
No doubt, kilts will now require a government warning...

Miah,
I was on my way to the Wynkoop Brewery at 18th & Wynkoop, but the accident was on 18th & Stout, not quite LoDo.
Would be great if another kilted gent was here in Denver, hope that you do wind up in the ol' Mile High City or its environs.

Allen's still around or at least we still email each other, however I have not seen him since March. We live in opposite ends of town, he in the NW suburbs and I in SE Denver proper.
Trying to set up a kilt night, but something comes up for one or the other of us, but I have noticed him reading the posts here, but not posting.
So Allen, I kind of know what's going on with you, but these other guys need to hear from you. Hint

Glen, you've gone too far this time, getting free meals and winning the lassies is one thing, but distracting drivers!!!(even if they are bonny)
I think we should vote to put Glen back into trousers, he's far too dangerous in a kilt!
