Just a couple of pics of the Black Watch out of Fort George competing in two heats with the non-kilted ghillies and keepers (so they're not shown) of Strathdearn and Strathnairn at the Moy Field Sports Fair. The Black Watch lost but I really wasn't shouting for either. Look good, don't they?
Great photos. Thanks for posting.
WONDERFUL photos. Very inspiring - you can feel the strain. Thanks.
Great pictures, Rex! I would have liked to have been there.

They do look good, Rex! Thanks for sharing. Cheers,
Thanks for the photos Rex. I have heard of the Moy event before but did not know much about it. After your post I went to the website and found out a whole lot more. Looks to be two great days of events and entertainment, something for everyone. Thankyou for the heads up.

I've missed not more than two Field Sports weekends in something like 35 years. Most of those have been at Moy, but there was one year in the eighties, I think, when it moved to the Dochfour estate on the other side of Loch Ness.
I love seeing pictures on how to wear the Black Watch because, beng a noob, i couldn't dress myself better than a 4-year old using Ger-animal matchy-tags. I liked the hose and boots. The jerseys were also cool. Matt
