World Pipe Band Championships Glasgow 11th August 2012.

This coming Saturday is the big event of the season in Glasgow.
World Pipe Bands Championships with around 200 pipe bands and full supporting events including Heavyweight Athletics and Highland Dancing.
Is anyone else going this year?

My wife and I went to the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow in 2010. It was one of the best times we ever had. I would love to go back again.

Unfortunately, my wife and I will not be able to attend this year, Alex. We last attended 'The Worlds' in 2009. What a fantastic event indeed!

The BBC are streaming it for free. They do every year and you can view it in the US. You can also watch tomorrow's Piping Live! from the Piping Centre on a free stream. I'll give you a wave!!!
