A decent alternative to hose?

I think for a young man, you are off to a good start. In this country, you see nearly everything with a kilt. If you can sew, my son orders skins off of ebay and makes his own sporrans. So far, he has Arctic fox, and a raccoon. Both look very professional with leather backing.
