    Wow great photos and thanks so much for posting them! Love your Spirit of Scotland kilt!

    I couldn't make it this year... I went in 2004 and 2007 but it's so expensive unless a band is paying for half of it...

    What's great about so many of your photos is that they show that the traditional full-yardage handsewn kilts are alive and well in the Pipe Band scene. Just look at all those lovely pleats!

    Since our band didn't go this year, we had a Worlds Viewing Party at the local British & Dominion Club, to watch the BBC live streaming of the Grade One Qualifier and Finals, rigged up on a big-screen TV and tall speakers.

    Due to the time difference the live streaming began at 1am our time, finishing around 9:30am, making it an all-nighter for us here.

    We were cheering on our local lads The LA Scots who made it through the qualifying round (3rd place) but didn't do as well in the Finals.
