    send some good thoughts

Have had a rough couple of weeks, my wife spent 6 days in the hospital thanks to a gallstone. It is now two weeks later, and she is still suffering from nausea and vomiting, and does not seem to be getting better. Any good thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Thank to any and all in advance.

I've heard gallstones are no picnic (almost but not quite as bad as kidney stones). My mother eventually had her gall bladder removed (many moons ago). Praying for a speedy recovery and no further trouble.

She had her gallbladder removed 4 years ago, but just had a gallstone removed. She is now back in the hospital, with a pancreatic pseudocyst. The MD says at least three days stay. Thanks for all your good thoughts.

As an update, my wife was transfered to another hospital down in Seattle. Virginia Mason Medical Center, and this is a good one to be in. This hospital is known for doing this kind of procedure. She had to have the pseudocyst drained, and an external drain placed. Apparently, it was a fairly large cyst, about 1600 cc's of fluid. So a few days here to recuperate and then home.
