Here are some pictures from today's Maine Highland Games at the Topsham Fair Grounds. The rain ended this morning in time for the opening ceremonies and the sun actually tried to come out by the afternoon. It was nice to meet a couple of X Marks members there. Opening Ceremonies: Athletics: Living History Area: Prydein: “Tartan Tess” with her one-of-a-kind Maine lobster kilt (pleated to the lobster of course!) Dave (ctbuchanan) and me (sporting my X Marks Dandelion) at the Clan Buchanan tent:

Highland Games make me happy... I love the lobster kilt! She's pleated it so the design is intact. Awesome.
I see that the McClawin clan has a kilt
Hey it was great to meet all of you. Thanks for the pictures scout.

Hey Scout!, Thank you very much for posting your pictures!!! Great to see! Teri (Tartan Tess) is a dear dear kiltmaking friend so if you still have questions about pleating to stripe, she's a lot closer. And I know she can answer all your questions. Jon
Only 9 notes. How hard could it be?
Good to see you at the games. I apologize for always looking the same in all these games photos. But that's my "uniform" when I'm working the Clan tent. I'll have to put some thought into getting more creative.

The games were great. Nice to meet Tess. Queechie is next week. Loon coming soon. Athletics were great. Piping and drumming was great.
Now, THAT is a kilt. Every crustacean needs one.
All good pics. The motorcycle really caught my eye too.
