    Donald, where's your trousers?

I just noticed Blu (Ontario)'s sig line. Great song! I have an MP3 copy of it by the Irish Rovers.

My pleasure, Doc! I knew what it was the second I saw it. I wasn't sure how many others would catch the reference, though.

As for my MP3 file of the song...I'd be happy to share it with anyone who wants it. 8)

I agree. Wonderful sig line! Lance and I sometimes sing that song during some of our kilt nights.

    Andy Stewart...

Andy Stewart's version is far better than the Irish Rover's version, IMHO...

Help! I heard the song on the radio over a week ago. It's been going through my head ever since... (the proverbial tune that won't go away.) I changed the sig. thinking that might help. Riiiight!

Would you like me to email you a copy of the song? It's 2.3 meg in size.

When a tune is stuck in your head is to continue whistling, humming, or singing it until the channel changes. For me, recently it has been either Flower of Scotland or Rosin the Beau going throug my head constantly.

    Help!!

Ok guys...I'm writing out the words for the song, and I can't for the life of me make out the last verse. Any help? Here's what I have so far...

Donald, where’s your trousers – The Irish Rovers

Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low
Through the streets in my kilt I go
    All the lassies say hello
    Donald where’s your trousers

I just come down from the Isle of Skye
I’m no very big and I’m awfully shy
The lassies say as I go by
    Donald where’s your trousers

Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low
Through the streets in my kilt I go
    All the lassies say hello
    Donald where’s your trousers

Well I went to a fancy ball
And it was slippery in the hall
And I was feared that I might fall
Cause I had me on my trousers

Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low
Through the streets in my kilt I go
    All the lassies say hello
    Donald where’s your trousers

    (repeat)

Now I went down to London town
To have a little fun on the underground
The ladies turned their heads around
And said…Donald, where are your trousers?

Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low
Through the streets in my kilt I go
    All the lassies say hello
    Donald where’s your trousers

    (Last verse unintelligible)

Let the wind blow high, let the wind blow low
Through the streets in my kilt I go
    All the lassies say hello
    Donald where’s your trousers
    Donald where’s your trousers

The lassies love me every one
But they must catch me if they can
You canna put the brakes on a highland man, saying,
    "Donald, where's your trousers?"

    There ya go.
