I have to say that wearing a tartan shirt and a kilt has made me feel really conspicuous in public... I tend to wear solid earthier colour shirt with a kilt... it's funny that one time wearing the Maple Leaf tartan shirt out to the grocery store , this woman asked me what tartan it was - so I guess it has a good effect where it counts (even if some look and see only some weird-dressed guy in a skirt)

I do want a kilt in this tartan some time... it would be really nice for sure.

Sir, it's hard to tell where shirt ends and kilt begins. and tie. That is something else.

Reminds me of Spirit Week in my senior year of HS. That Friday was Plaid Day and some folks came fully decked out in plaid and tweed garments.

    Kudos! :-)

I've had flannel shirts in Buchanan from Lands End (which I still have) and LL Bean. I also have flannel pj bottoms I wear in the cold month of the same.
My wife often joked that if I wore the shirt and the pants at the same time I could go as an eyesore for Halloween.
