Visitor messages - questions
Each user has a profile page where visitors can post messages to them, which are publicly viewable. However, unlike private messages, there is no option to receive a notification that a new message has been posted. I apparently had a bunch of visitor messages that I didn't even know were there. Is there a way to add the option to receive notifications for these visitor messages? In my settings, I see that I can choose to get an email for a friend request, but not for a visitor message.
Also, a while back I attempted to delete all my visitor messages, thinking that it worked like private messages. Apparently it doesn't. Instead of the messages going away completely like they do in the private message system, it simply changes the original message to say that it was deleted by me. I see no option to actually delete the messages and make their remnants disappear. The only option left is to "report" them. Are these deleted messages visible to everyone else who visits my profile, or just to me? And is there a way for me to make those notes disappear entirely?

I think they're visible to those who visit your profile. I just visited and could see three messages. Sorry, I've no idea how to delete them.

Tobus,
Can you give me a little time to look into this. There may be a way or may not. I simply don't know right now.
Give me, say, 48 hours and I'll get back to you on this.

Was there ever any resolution to the question? I'm curious as to how to do it myself.

I'm sorry but I don't have an solution to this yet.
I have been searching the forum admin forums trying to find an answer for you. So far, no joy.
Thanks for your patience.
