Hello
Hi, I'm Dwayne from Brantford, Ontario and am looking forward to becoming part of the kilt wearing community. I have my first kilt on order from USA Kilts and am pretty excited about it arriving. I can already tell that I'm going to learn a lot from this site. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Dwayne, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
Since you are Canadian I was wondering whether you had done your army service in a kilted regiment, as I did (our American cousins don’t have this type of introduction to kilt-wearing).
Regards,
Mike

Sadly, no military service...just a nickname from having the last name Armstrong and some unimaginative friends.

Welcome from Cedar Cottage neighbourhood, East Vancouver. I grew up in Woodstock, just a few miles west.....
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.
