I have the honor to meet Maestro Paul McDonald in person, he is a great fencer, a great master at arms and a good friend.

It was great to saw him in one of your pics!!

Very nice JRB, thanks for posting.

That fellow's tankard is quite clever, hats off to him. I really appreciated the archery and axe throwing photos, it's nice to see these activities alive, well, and supported across the country. The bizarre acts of a few nuts should not have the power to deny the majority of people access to activities that they safely enjoy! Bravo to your organizers, for recognizing that!!

    Cheers!

I was in the second pic, walking away from you in the Wisconsin tartan , black shirt and cane. I'm sorry we didn't meet up. So close yet so far away. Maybe next year. You took some great pics. The pic of the fella tossing the caber, his name is Chris and is a police officer from North Carolina. They come from all over to participate in the games.

Great pics, JRB! My kinsman Neal McCallum convened our clan tent there.

This is a very good modern casual look for being at a Highland Games. I like it! But I have to ask about that belt. It's very interesting. I can't say that I've ever seen one like that before. What's the story on it?

That belt was made by the Potomac Leather Company. I posted this thread about it years ago... http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...ne-belt-30542/
