Very nice. I like how it has subtly modern design elements, but without getting too crazy.

I like the simplicity of the design. Personally, I like more "simple" sporrans. The quality of material is important. This one looks lovely.

Here is my most recent sporran from Donnie at Wyvern Leatherworks. I can's say enough good about Donnie and his work and his business practices. I commissioned this sporran in chocolate brown with a basket weave flap and brass hardware. As you can see the strap also has antique brass buckle, swivels and smooth radiused spring clips to keep from snagging on that costly wool we are prone to wearing.

And one "In the wild" for those of you who missed the original threat that this photo was in, and wanted to see it worn.

    Thanks again Donnie, well done!

    1. and 2. are inexpensive day and military-style sporrans 3. the dread "semi-dress" sporran received as a gift from a friend, 4. Thorfinn chocolate brown elk Rob Roy-style sporran with brass hardware, 5. Ex-Royal Regiment of Scotland MOD issue sporran 6. Black McRostie of Glasgow with tassels, 7. Artificer skunk sporran with hammered leather cantle, 8. Ex-MOD Culloden cantle re-bagged in chocolate elk by Artificer, and 9. Craigie badger mask sporran.

Sporrans 1., 2., 6., the cantle of 8. and 9. were all ebay finds.

    Cheers,

    SM
