Kilt and BBQ

Yesterday was my father in law's birthday so we decided to have a BBQ and beers.

Of course I decided to wear one of my Kilts, I dont wanted to expose my wool kilt to the heat and smell of the charcoal, so I used my cashmere-tailor-made kilt and my home made sporran.

I know, this picture is wrong in many ways (starting with the kilt, the sporran etc), but I felt cool and comfortable, hope you like them

The only thing wrong with those pictures is that they make me hungry. Your outfit looks great. It almost shouts "BBQ and beer here!", .... especially that jocked Robert Mackie bonnet.

Memphis still takes 2nd place to my native Texas, but I've been to Memphis too and. . .dang, it's a really tough choice. . .

I've been to Memphis as well, and while I enjoyed my time there, I've little desire to return. At least not to the "city proper". Still, nice kilt, barbecue, and tattoo. LOVE the Harley shirt!

Once I went to Marshalltown, IA and I tasted one of the best BBQ in my life, someone from Iowa around here??

St. Louis (my hometown) style BBQ isn't half bad either!
