I haven't heard of pipelander before, but that's not all that surprising. I hadn't heard of most of the advertisers here before joining XMarks.

Piper's Hut is more or less 'local' to me (about 4 hours away). Jon Moffat has a great reputation for customer service above & beyond. I've bought a couple of music books from there, and the Louisville Pipe Band buys reeds and other piping supplies through there.
