OK I am a little behind on putting a post up here. I think a full on Vancouver Kiltfest is a abloustuely great idea. The summer time here is just stunning, and the pubs are ripe and ready to be ravaged by MEN in Kilts.
Bear we will have to work this so I will be home from sea, I wouldn't want to miss this for the world!
Lets plan this event well so that everyone who wants to make it here will have all the oppertunity to do so. Here's hoping this all works out, becasue it would be a think of beauty I think.

We'll make it so good, the 2010 winter olympics will have to try and measure up to us!

I think a Brit contingent ought to make the effort, assuming we're invited. If so I'll check on flights etc and if I can afford it (only got a small sporran), I'd be up for it. 'Hmmm I can feel a kilt night coming on'.Beginning to be heard quite often round Ripley when the bloods up, and a few beers have been sunk.

Andrew,
It wouldn't be right if you weren't there, so if you know when you'll be here next summer, send me your schedule, so I can arrange things to have you here.

I am pretty sure that anyone and everyone,(KILTED mind you) is invited. This could shape up to be a big world event, or something like that. Good planning will make this all happen smoothly. We had better get planning because I am thirsty and nothing helps good planning like a few pitchers of some good Ale's. Right then, I am off to the Pub right now to get started. Cheers all!

Bear I will work that out for you very soon and get it over to you. It might take a few days but I will get it done.

This is sounding really great! I've been hoping to to represent "the other Vancouver" at one of your kilt-nights soon, but I'll definitely be there when this one comes around. In fact I just told my boss he'd better be prepared for me to be missing sometime in August next year. He just groaned and crossed his eyes when I told him why.
