Thanks for the heads up Matt. I've been wanting to try this line of hose as a lighter weight summer alternative. I gave a click to the Lovat Blue version. I'm still working out a decision on our previous conversaion.

Thanks for posting a great deal, too bad I wear 14's so they dont fit. Seems many of the kilt hose stop at the large sizing. Hope there are a few folks out there to take advantage of this.

Hi Paul. Yes, I'm afraid the Glenmore are only available in M and L, but most all the other styles offered by House of Cheviot come in S, M, L and XL. The XL fits sizes 13.5-14.5 (US). So you have options, fear not!

Thanks Matt, I know they do have other larger sizes and when I can afford a pair or two I will. They are some fantastic kilt hose. Big feet have always been an issue and I find many of the kilt hose are only up to 12-13. They may just fit me but not in the way I would like. In time and with some over time at work Ill have some of the fine House of Cheviot to add to my collection.

Are the sizes shoe size or sock size? Gambling on size ordered Lovat Blue and the Bowmore Country Socks in Mustard

The sizes refer to US shoe size. So a size M hose fits those who wear shoes sizes 8 - 10.

Finally make it back online and to Xmarks and my first post back is about hose, just doesn't seem right. Question though is does anyone know if these hose work well for those of us with large calves or do they look like most do and stretch out to the point you're afraid they are going to break?
