PC - how am I doing?
Everything wedding related is in, I'm about a week out, and would like the rabble's feedback on how I'm doing with the outfit. This is the first time I've worn a PC or a traditional tux shirt for that matter. There's quite a bit of guess work and looking at pics on the Internet going on. So now that I've got it all on, any critiques would be greatly appreciated.

The kilt was made by USA Kilts in Roberts, the sporran is a custom piece by Donnie over at Wyvern Leatherworks.
Thanks in advance!

Overall, I think it looks good. You're certainly not making any huge glaring errors, and that's a good thing. The PC seems to fit you well. Often people have sleeves that go down to their knuckles, but yours looks like it is a good fit all around.
But since you asked for critique, there are probably a few things that would really "sharpen up" the look. These are mainly just finer points that most people won't even notice.
1. It would be great if you could show about 1/4" to 1/2" of shirt cuff past the sleeves of the jacket. Even better if you have a shirt with French cuffs that will display cufflinks. This adds an extra level of elegance.
2. While your kilt length is in the acceptable range, I would personally hike it up just a smidge more so it's clearly at the top of the knee, rather than only fully exposing the knee when you bend your leg. This, coupled with bringing the hose tops down just a wee bit so that they're no higher than the widest part of the calf (or about three finger widths below your kneecap), will show a bit more leg and look more traditional. Ideally, you'd want about an 8" gap (or thereabouts) between kilt and hose.
3. The pic is too small to really tell, but putting a high shine on the shoes will go a long way.
4. Can't see your right leg, but are you wearing a sgian dubh? It's a nice bit of bling that adds a nice look.

I will agree with Tobus's advice, and reiterate the fact that you look great, as is. Better than most men I see in their Prince Charlies at dinners and things. So kudos!
The following are just pointers if you really wanted to bring things to the next level.
1. While the sporran you have is fine, one with a bit more "bling" would dress up the outfit. Either a silver-cantled sporran, or a hair sporran.
2. Diced or argyle hose would also dress the outfit up quite considerably, though if you are going the solid color route, I think the color you have works very well.

I agree with Tobus and Matt about the kilt length and the sporran. You know, a smile wouldn't hurt. It's your wedding, you should be happy.

I'm sorry this is (really) late, but thank you everyone for your help. We had the familial hordes show up and the wedding insanity was running at full blast before I knew it. Your advice was much appreciated and was put to good use. I even smiled!
Waiting on pictures from the photographer, but from the snaps that guests took, I think I did pretty well...

And even more late. Here's a picture of my lovely bride, myself, and the clergy. The priest on the left is Fr. Gabriel, it's his church we got married in. The priest on the right is Fr. Justin, he's our priest, but our home parish was too small for all of the guests. It was standing room only at St. Mary's, which was a pleasant surprise.

Looks good and congrats on the wedding. As one who has never been in an orthodox church...wow. Fancy place. See you soon.

Congratulations! You and your bride look wonderful in your respective outfits. Good for you for tying the knot in Highland Dress. You can't do much better than that!
