I think I made the paper
A friend saw this in a local weekly newspaper. At the end of a column in bold letters "Another reason why I love San Francisco" followed by this: In Union Square earlier in the week I saw a white haired, heavily tattooed man wearing a kilt coming out of Macy's. Ya gotta love this city.
Not sure he was talking about me but how many white haired, heavily tattooed kilties were in Macy's the other day? As far as I know I was the only one and probably the only one to fit that description in SF. But who knows.

I think it is more shocking that San Franciso has a Macy's!

I think you should find out who the writer is and start stalking them. Accidentally, walking past his house when he comes home in the evening. Or walking past his office when he is arriving.
After a few weeks there will be headlines "Who is that kilted man?"

Are you sure you were not on the Pennsylvania Turnpike this week? On the Raverly knitting forum a friend posted the following:
"I went to Reading this past Saturday to see BXXX MXXXXX on a bus trip. We stopped to eat at one of the Turnpike rest stops. Across from me eating their supper were two big hunky guys that looked like that had just climbed off of their Harleys…shaved head, beards, tats… While we were still eating the two gents finished and got up. There it was! The best looking of the two had on a blue pleated twill skirt and boots. It didn’t look too bad on him, he wore the skirt tucked in and better than I could "
I believe she was talking about a Utilikilt rather than a skirt, but, at least she tried. Oh yes she said shaved head not white hair, was your brother traveling?
Yes kilted men stand out, tattooed men at Macy's stand out, white hair stands out and when all three come together he is just outstanding. I had to be you, put it in your scrap book. You should contact the writer and invite them to the next X-Mart kilt night.
