Convenient? That thing cost an arm and a leg and was very difficult to set up! "Some assembly required" my eye...

The new kilt looks great on you! That's a handsome tartan too.

There's only one thing it could be.....my new Casual kilt in the Pennsylvania tartan.
Casual kilt? But... I see buckles. Is this really a casual kilt or a semi-trad?

In the interest of giving credit where credit is due, Mac made this one. He's a pretty talented guy too.

I definitely know what you mean Anne; I love X Marks for that. I can't make any promises about the video, but I'll look into it. Don't work too hard!

Tobus - good eye! You are absolutely correct; it is the semi-trad and not the casual. I'll have to fix that.

And thank you to everyone who took a peek at the pics! I'm really looking forward to my first outing.

    Cheers,
    -Jake

Absolutely sir. And in case you were wondering as to why there were no photos of the basting, it's because there simply wasn't any. After seeing how well the pleats laid fresh from the packaging, I see no reason necessitating it. I haven't had to iron or steam them, and they lay straight and unwrinkled.

    Cheers,
    -Jake

Well, no video yet...but something almost as good! I happened to see Rocky and Mac at the Celtic Classic this weekend.

Rocky was really rockin' the PA tartan!

And Mac was looking quite nice in his PA tartan kilt too; I really liked the sporran he was wearing with it.

    Cheers,
    -Jake

Looking good Jake, you wear your new kilt well. As many of us here are well pleased with our kilts from Rocky's I'm sure you will be too.
