Pipersson , that is a beautiful tartan ! You have several options for hose and flashes that would look very good .

Given that you are going to an evening Philharmonic event ( I assume evening ) , my vote on hose would be in the green , blue or black color family and contrast the flashes accordingly with a stripe in the kilt . To my eye any of those would look quite smart . As a matter of fact , I think your choice of hose , flashes and tie in the picture is great and that look gives you something quite fitting with a splash of color .

I have nothing against white / cream hose for certain applications , it's just that at first glance , they often take my eye directly to the hose instead of the kilt due to the extreme contrast of color .

Regardless of what you choose , I'm sure you will look sharp . Have a great time at the concert and by the way , I'm with you on the shoe choice .
