That stuff works nice i have used it before.
what i like to do if i am going to be doing over 10 miles a day is honestly get a set of panty hose. it sounds bad but it can help a ton. In the Marine corps we would use then a good amount on long marches just cut the legs out and then use the legs/ feet for socks 1st layer , or if it real cold wear the whole thing. it is also a nice defence against some bugs.
we never had much access to anti chafe stuff other then the doc would toss us some vasoline or something heheh.
