    Wedding & Ceilidh

Last saturday I went to the wedding of a friend of mine, and in the night we had the Ceilidh of the Saint Andrew's Society of Mexico, of course I went kilted to both events.

I need to say that I still dont have a sgian dubh, so at the wedding I saw a guy with a tie with tartan, then this guy saw that i was kilted and he shouted "hey you missed one of this" and he take of from his jacket a cool sgian dubh and put it into my hose, we started to talk and he told me he is a Turnbull and he was very happy to see me kilted, he told me that he made the sgian dubh, he asked for the blade and he made the grip from wood, a very cool work (but I dont have picture from it, sorry)

Then at night my wife and I, went to the Ceilidh, where we had two pipers from the St Patricks Batallion of pipes and drums of Mexico, and we also had some Scottish Country dancing (Cumberland Reel, Tann o'Shanter, Canadian Barn dance etc), Whiskey and beer!

So here are some pictures from our event, hope you like it

Here is a picture from the wedding

    And pictures from the Ceilidh

Thank you so much guys, Im very proud of my kilt

Its very hard to find quallity stuff here in Mexico, so I have to order everything online, but so far USA Kilts (sporran, hoses, flashes, kilt pin), and Sport Kilt (new Fraser kilt, new flashes, Tshirt) have been my options, and they are great!!!

Just a foot note, The Saint Patrick's Battalion Pipes and Drums of Mexico City "was established in 1997 to honour the Irish and Scottish Soldiers that fought alongside Mexico in the war of 1847."
