Yeah, you're quite right about that, Clan Sinclair and Clan Gunn up in highest of the Highlands and northern of the Islands also claim Norwegian/Scandinavian descent and I believe that some in Anglesay might have some viking blood running through their veins as well.

"Ryfylke" in the document above is the olden name for the modern county of Rogaland where Stavanger is the largest city. The local football team is called "Viking FK" (FC) and their offical supporter group is called "Vikinghordene" (The Viking hordes). There's a car ferry that goes back and forth from Stavanger to Aberdeen.
