Sounds great guys. I will not be able to make this one this month, but am looking forward to my own return to Kilt Night in the coming months. Have a great time. Vancouver Kilt Nights are a blast and anyone in the area should really try and make it out for one.

We've GOT to see if one of the local pubs will hire Barleyjuice for a gig, so that I can FINALLY get in on one of these!!!
Hell... the entire group wears kilts, but that might not be enough to overcome the 3100 mile trip.

Working is a good reason for missing a kilts night.

Hey guys, I couldn't get away in July, and I won't be able to get there for August, but it looks like I might be able to sneak out in September. Will you be doing Kilt Night on September 3rd?

Are the Kennedys gun shy?
But it will be Saturday, September 4th.
July's Kilts Night was the best I've ever seen for hot chicks! The place was packed with 'em all night and they were walking by the pub all night, too. I saw one standing in a jeep that drove by, wearing only a g-string!
The band rocked, the beer flowed, and there was a few new guys I'd met at the highland games.
As I was the last kilt in the pub, I had to do the Granville Stroll alone. I haven't done that for months and it was fun!
For those who haven't heard, the Granville Stroll is a walk we take after the pub closes. Granville is busy at that time of a Saturday night and there's always something odd that happens. This time, I was shaking a lot of hands, hugging some gals, and bought a hot dog for a Washington State bride-to-be on her stagette because she didn't have any Canadian money. (Those hot dogs from that vendor are just what I want after beers!) I gave her a card because she liked the kilt so much, she wants her fiance to get one.
I love walking down the street at 1 or 2 am and having several girls' eyes light up when they see me, simply because I'm wearing a kilt.
It's like the Beatles's song:
Isn't it good, Norwegian wood? (Knowing she would?)
I didn't see any other kilts this month on the Granville Stroll. Usually, someone comes out of a crowded line at a bar to shake hands.
Two guys taller than me but thinner, (the kind that snap easy), walked by me and one said, "See that fag?"
I turned to see if he was talking about me and they were staring at my kilt, (Maple Leaf tartan,) and grinning like I was wearing a tutu.
I was more than a bit tipsy, beyond caring by then, so I gave the guy that spoke my nastiest smile and said one of my stock lines that I can remember when tipsy.
"Whisper it in my ear."
His friend pulled him away and I went on my way feeling good.

It looks like that I am going to miss both August and September. I will be away on both weekend and September 4th is my 5th wedding anniversary.
